Mother's Day

Mother’s Day

Sunday 8th May, 2016

Mother's Day Classic has raised $27.4 million since it began and helps drive over 30 National Breast Cancer Foundation projects across Australia. Each year, Women in Super (WIS) oversees the organisation of the Mother’s Day Classic, a national fun run and walk established by the network to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research.

We are lucky enough to have Hervey Bay hosting the Mother’s Day Classic this year. It is being held this Mother’s Day on Sunday, 8th May 2016. There are opportunities to participate in this event by walking or running as well as offering your services as a volunteer.

This event offers a 2.5km & 5km walk and a 5km run open for the whole family. On the day entries are available at the Urangan Pier – Hervey Bay from 7am.

Grab your Mothers, grab your friends, grab your colleagues and get down to this event this weekend to help raise money for such a worthy cause.
