Not only is the Fraser Coast home to the Hervey Bay Whale Watching and Fraser Island tours, we are also home to the annual Pub Fest event held annually in Maryborough, QLD.

Since 2005, the World’s Greatest Pub Fest has honoured the quintessential Australian tradition of a good, old fashioned bar hop.
Maryborough set the first ever Guiness World Record for the most people on a pub crawl in June 2005 with a total of 1, 198 participants lining the streets and visiting its heritage hotels. Maryborough continued to set new records beating off challenges from London, New York and Halifax in Canada. In 2013, it set a new record of 4, 781 participants, but unfortunately lost to Kansas City later that year.
