You can find us in Hervey Bay Queensland just a 3 hour drive north of Brisbane or fly in at the Hervey Bay Airport.
Lloyd and Robyn Burgess are the owner operators of the Tasman Venture since 1990. With their 3 daughters they moved to Hervey bay in 1990 where they acquired the Tasman Venture business (involved in commercial Whale Watching since its conception 1987). All their hard work and passion has resulted in a great running business. 20 whale seasons later Robyn & Lloyd still love the whales and Fraser Island and will always go the extra mile to make sure you will have the best experience.
On board you will meet:
Vicki Neville & Carolena Gillies who both love the whales, Fraser Island, wildlife and the marine environment. Vicky founded "the National Whale Day" in 2006 and has won awards for her conservation work. Carolena can speak 4 languages, which she uses all the time with our foreign guests. With a combined 20 years experience these Girls will provide you with expert commentary.
