Tasman venture is a fast and luxurious 20 metre catermaran, carefully designed in 2004 with
respect to Hervey Bay’s weather and ocean conditions. Offering speed and comfort to cover
the coast line, and beyond, in luxurious style.
Since 1990 local owner-operater Lloyd and Robyn Burgess have committed their time into
sharing their passion for the ocean, her wildlife and the natural beauty of it’s
surrounding islands. 22 years of whale watching later this passion and commitment
has resulted in numerous award s including Hervey Bay’s Business Award for Contribution
to Tourism in 2010 & 2011
On our tours passengers are considered personal guests, and we aim only to provide a quality
and potentially life-changing experience. We currently offer Whale Watching Tours, Fraser
Island Tours and Fishing Charters.
Passengers will be spoilt with choice on the Tasman Ventures 6 spacious viewing decks. You
can find yourself sitting on her bow, feeling the ocean mist or being extra close to our bow
riding dolphins, to relaxing in the cushiony air-conditioned comfort of our cabin and cockpit.
Be sure not to miss our unique viewing platform or underwater viewing windows - which makes
for the perfect environment for whale and dolphin observation and photography.
Hervey Bay is ideally located just 3.5 hours drive north of Brisbane or just a short flight to the Hervey Bay Airport. It is renowned for it’s beautiful beaches, fine dining, boutique shopping, wineries, Water Park and markets. Hervey Bay is a popular holiday destination with a lot to offer for the young to the old.
